Completed a degree in Medicine at the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences (University of Porto) in 2002.
In 2003 and 2004, she attended the General Internship at the Centro Hospitalar de Vila Nova de Gaia.
She completed the Complementary Internship in the specialty of Endocrinology in February 2010.
